In a relaxed natural environment, guests can try their hand at traditional gold panning, learn about the history of Drava gold panners and discover why the Drava was once known as a gold-bearing river.

Over the centuries, the River Drava has shaped human life, nature and the cultural heritage of the Dravsko and Ptuj plains. Through an interactive educational experience, visitors discover its rich history, the significance of the Drava raftsmen, the tradition of gold panning, the characteristics of the river ecosystem and the importance of the Drava as one of Europe's most vital rivers. Learning in the natural environment along the river enables visitors to connect authentically with nature, heritage and the stories that the Drava has been telling for millennia.

The product is given special value by the collaboration with wooden jewellery master Sre\u010dko Molk, who creates unique wooden products embedded with scales of Drava gold \u2013 authentic memories of an unforgettable experience by the river.
