The meeting point of cycling routes and the mighty River Drava. Experience the Ptuj Plain in the most authentic way \u2013 by bike and paddle. Drava Paddle & Bike is an active experience connecting the beautiful plains of the Ptuj and Dravinja regions, Slovenia's oldest town and one of the best-preserved rivers in this part of Europe.

The cycling adventure begins on the paths along the River Drava, past castles and mansions, through fertile fields and traditional villages. After exploring the countryside along gravel and asphalt cycling paths, the experience continues on the water. The product is the result of a collaboration between the Pure Sport team, who take care of the activities on and around the River Drava, and The POINT team, who handle the cycling logistics part.<\/strong>

On the mighty Drava, visitors embark on a guided paddling adventure with kayaks, canoes, rafts or SUPs. No prior experience is required, as experienced guides take care of the introduction, safety and all necessary equipment. Here, the Drava is still playful, natural and full of stories. As we navigate, we discover its meanders, small rapids and its former role as an important transport route, along which Drava raftmen transported timber all the way to the Danube and the Black Sea for centuries.

Along the way, we can also meet gold panners who still maintain the tradition of panning for gold from the Drava, and discover the area's rich natural and cultural heritage.

    Following the activity comes relaxation with local cuisine. By the river, we can arrange a picnic with homemade delicacies from the Ptuj plain, a visit to a traditional tavern or a tasting of local products \u2013 from Ptuj onion and pumpkin oil to top-quality wines of Haloze and Jeruzalem.

    Drava Paddle & Bike is not just a sports trip. It is a comprehensive experience of the Ptuj plain, where movement, nature, heritage, gastronomy, and the stories of the people who have lived along the Drava River for centuries intertwine.

    Experiences by arrangement can include: <\/strong>guided cycling tours around the Ptuj Plain, e-bike rental (Bike POINT), guided descents down the Drava (SUP, kayak, canoe and raft programmes) in collaboration with the experienced and professional team at Pure Sport. Upon request by the group, we can arrange a presentation of the tradition of gold panning (Dravagold), a guided tour of Ptuj or a snack in nature in the form of a picnic basket.
