The Point Boutique Experience
In order to ensure a safe, pleasant and clean environment for all guests, the THE POINT facility has a strict ban on smoking and the use of tobacco and other related products in all of the areas listed below.
Smoking and the use of tobacco and related products notably includes the use of traditional cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, electronic cigarettes or vape devices, heated tobacco products, water pipes (shisha) and other products intended for smoking or inhalation.
Smoking is NOT permitted:
- in all interior areas of THE POINT building,
- in all accommodation units (including bathrooms),
- on balconies belonging to individual accommodation units.
Smoking is permitted exclusively on designated and marked outdoor areas specifically for this purpose, namely:
- on the open-air terraces of catering establishments;
- in front of the reception entrance.
Please kindly dispose of cigarette butts and other waste exclusively in the bins provided for this purpose.
Smoking or the use of tobacco and related products in areas where it is prohibited constitutes breach of house rules and accommodation contract terms.
In the event of an established violation, the manager may charge the guest flat-rate compensation of EUR 170.00 for additional costs and burdens associated with the breach, in particular due to extra cleaning, odour removal, ventilation and taking the room out of service.
If as a result of a breach occurs actual damage or additional costs exceeding the stated amount, can the manager also request reimbursement from the guest in accordance with the applicable legislation (Restriction on the Use of Tobacco and Related Products Act (ZOUTPI)).
These rules represent house rules or terms and conditions of accommodation. The guest is informed of them before or upon check-in and is obliged to respect them during their stay.
